It’s the summer holidays, schools have closed for the long 6 week break and so far the weather hasn’t been too bad. On a trip out to a neighboring town this week, Tim and I were a bit early for an appointment so we had a walk through one of the open park spaces which was absolutely lovely. Well kept and clean, bordered with a wide range of old established trees it was a joy. Lots of people were there enjoying the fresh air, a game of football was being played with kids and parents which produced a lot of laughter and excited squealing, pockets of picnickers and folks having a stroll like us, it made a perfect summer scene, and reminded me of how important our open spaces are for people to meet and enjoy life.
