Look at it! I am very pleased with this, in the past we have managed to grow a plant but it was all leaf and no fruit. THIS year we have a beauty, not the conventional shape but it is a gorgeous colour and there are more flowers, so maybe we will have another, meaning more than one batch of ratatouille or moussaka.
It is a beautiful day as I type, sunny and breezy - a good drying day - so I have a load of washing firmly pegged to the line. It isn’t as stupidly hot either so I did some pruning on my coffee break and have been gazing out of the window wistfully while at the computer.
Day two of posting every day in July is done, baby steps but I am hopeful I can find something to ramble on about each day. It has been a computer-based Wednesday, work stuff, I have ‘Friends of Dorothy’ by Sandi Toksvig on Audible so the time is passing fairly well. Soon my mind will turn to the ever-present ‘what shall we have for tea’ issue, at the moment it is usually roast veg from the garden (bliss) including potatoes, beetroot, patty pan squash and courgettes to accompany something else…maybe tuna tonight.
Join me tomorrow for more fascinating developments!
